From Doolin to New England
The Beginning
We grew up in Doolin, a small coastal village in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland.
It’s the kind of place where the pub isn’t just somewhere you go for a drink - it’s where people gather. It’s where stories are told, tunes are played, and a quick pint turns into a night you don’t want to end.
That’s what a real pub is.
And that’s what stayed with us.
The Idea
When we moved to New England, we found plenty of great places. But very few that captured that same feeling.
Not just how a pub looks. But how it feels.
So we asked a simple question: What if we could bring that experience to people?
Not just a mobile bar.
Not a themed setup.
A real pub.
Building the Pub
We set out to build something that felt authentic from the moment you stepped inside.
Every detail was intentional.
The layout.
The lighting.
The materials.
Not to recreate the look of an Irish pub - but to recreate the atmosphere.
Warm, welcoming, and just a little hard to leave.
What it Became
What we didn’t expect was how quickly it would become the center of every event.
People don’t just stop by for a drink.
They stay.
They bring others in.
They come back throughout the night.
And more often than not, it ends up being the part of the event everyone talks about afterwards.
That’s when we knew we had built something special.
Today
Today, The Wandering Druid travels across New England, bringing that same pub experience to weddings, backyard parties, and corporate events.
Every event is different.
But the feeling is always the same.
Warm.
Lively.
Unforgettable.
What We Believe
The best events aren’t just well-planned - they’re felt.
They have energy.
They have atmosphere.
They have a place where people naturally come together.
That’s what a great pub does.
And that’s what we aim to bring to every event.
“The Wandering Druid is the kind of bar that guests truly fall in love with. It’s the quintessential Irish pub; small, cozy, romantic and with a hint of mystery. For years we’ve wanted to be able to give people that experience, and now we can. We are a 100% Irish owned and operated business, and what we offer our customers is a true, genuine Irish experience in every sense. We’re not just a tiny house on wheels pretending to be an Irish pub, we built a real-life Irish pub that just so happens to be on wheels!”

Bring the Pub to You
If you’re planning an event and want something your guests will truly remember, we’d love to be part of it.
“The worst thing about some men is that when they are not drunk they are sober.”
William Butler Yeats
